UNFRICKENBELIEVABLE! At least 3 Texas RINOS joined Texas Democrats and the designated terrorist organization CAIR (Council on Islamic Relations) to propose 300 pages of changes and amendments to the mandatory public school history curriculum, including removal of lessons about the American Revolution and our founding fathers, Christopher Columbus, and Thanksgiving. The CAIR thugs even want American students to be taught that the Alamo was built to “honor Islam.”
Todd Starnes References to the Black Robed Regiment were also removed – the regiment a group of Protestant pastors who supported and fought for the American Revolution. The board also struck out the definition of the American flag as a symbol of independence because one of the board members stated that not all people were free when America was established.
They specifically objected to the stories of Valley Forge as well as The battles of Lexington and Bunker Hill. Instead – the board wanted to provide lessons on modern-day American – and focus more on Oprah Winfrey – instead of George Washington.
