Now that the Islamic State (ISIS) is back in business (behind Moscow terror attack), how long before they attack the U.S.?

No doubt they have infiltrated the U.S. via the wide open Southern border. In a recent communique, the Islamic State called on its followers to slaughter and terrorize every single Western person they could reach.  A snippet follows:

Two important points arise when reflecting on these 21 martyrs: Muslims everywhere are still persecuting and slaughtering Christians for their faith, and the Western establishment is doing everything in its power—which is considerable—to conceal this fact.

Of curious interest here is not so much the sadistic (though ultimately hackneyed) calls for carnage, but rather the claim that torturing, terrorizing, and tearing infidels apart somehow “eases the sufferings in the hearts of the believers,” and “satisfies the soul.”

Such claims are actually derived from Islam’s most sacred text.  The Koran exhorts believers to “Fight them [those who oppose Islam], Allah will torment them with your hands, humiliate them, empower you over them, and heal the hearts of the believers, removing the rage from their hearts” (Koran 9:14-15).

As usual, to understand the significance of any Koran verse, one must turn to the sira and hadith—the biography and anecdotes of Muhammad, respectively—for context.  Koran 9:14-15 is connected to the slaughter of ‘Amr bin Hisham, a pagan Arab chieftain originally known as “Abu Hakim” (Father of Wisdom) until Muhammad dubbed him “Abu Jahl” (Father of Stupidity) for his staunch opposition to Islam.

According to Al-Bidaya wa Al-Nihaya (“The Beginning and the End”), Ibn Kathir’s authoritative history of early Islam, “After that, he [Abdullah] cut his [‘Amr’s] head off and bore it till he placed it in the hands of the Prophet. Thus did Allah heal the hearts of the believers with it.”

This, then, is the exegesis of Koran 9:14-15:

Fight them, Allah will torment them with your hands [mortally wounding and eventually decapitating ‘Amr], humiliate them [pulling his beard], empower you over them [standing atop him], and heal the hearts of the believers, removing the rage from their hearts [at the sight of his decapitated head].

The logic here is that, pious Muslims are so full of zeal for Allah’s cause that the only way their inflamed hearts can be soothed is to see those who oppose Allah and his prophet utterly crushed—humiliated, mutilated, decapitated.  Then the hearts of the believers can be at ease and “healed.”

ISIS was so committed to promoting such atrocities that, back in its heyday in Iraq and Syria, it regularly disseminated gory videos and pictures of its victims precisely in an effort to “heal the hearts” of Muslims, as documented at the bottom of this 2014 article (warning: graphic images). One showed the decapitated head of a Syrian soldier, with the caption, “healing for hearts.”  Several showed ISIS jihadists standing atop their slain victims.  Others showed jihadists laughing and joking around while holding the mutilated heads of their enemies —reminiscent of the “angel” Gabriel laughing and joking about the mutilated head of ‘Amr.

On the first point, consider this: in July 2011, I began to compile a monthly “Muslim Persecution of Christians” report (published by the Gatestone Institute).  Every one of these now 137 reports contain one or two dozen accounts of the bombing, burning or banning of churches; the rape and forced conversion of Christian women; murderous attacks on and long prison sentences for so-called apostates and blasphemers; generic but institutionalized discrimination and exploitation; and, of course, the outright slaughter of Christians.

Here, for example, is a very short sampling of an unpublished report, covering just January, 2023:

More than a decade’s worth of such reports, totaling for between one and two thousand such incidents, gives the lie to the widespread notion that it is only professional “terrorists” of the Islamic State’s ilk that persecute Christians.  To be sure, what “ISIS” put Christians and other religious minorities through was horrific; but before and after ISIS, Christians experienced and continue to experience less “spectacular” forms of persecution at the hands of “everyday” Muslims, including Muslim individuals, mobs, clerics, and, of course, Muslim authorities at every level of state (police, local governors, judges, etc.).

Also in 2015, the Islamic State (ISIS) slaughtered and beheaded 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya.

In the video, an ISIS terrorist affirms that they will continue killing Christians until “polytheism” is destroyed, that is, until the belief in the Trinity is destroyed. A masked man wielding a gun says that Christians must convert to Islam or pay a special tax as prescribed by the Quran. The video then alternates between images of captives in the south who shot dead and others in the east to the beheading on a beach.

Which brings us back to the martyrdom of the 21—and the role of the malfeasant media.  As opposed to most of the stories listed above, and the dozens like them that surface each and every month—all of which habitually receive scant if any reporting by the so-called mainstream media—the execution of the 21 martyrs, due to its “spectacular” and theatrical nature,  received ample coverage by the alternate media.  Whenever that happens, the mainstream media has no choice but also to carry the story, lest their disregard become tooobvious.

But they did so by dismissing the slaughter of the 21 as being perpetrated by “terrorists” who have “nothing to do with Islam,” an otherwise “peaceful religion” which they had hijacked for their own nefarious agenda.

Back in 2019, the Islamic State affiliate (ISWAP) in Nigeria filmed and posted online the beheadings of 11 Christians in their latest “Message To Christians All Over The World.” 

NY Post The Islamic State has released a video which purportedly shows the brutal execution of 11 blindfolded Christians in Nigeria, the day after Christmas, in revenge for the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and IS spokesman Abdul-Hasan al-Muhajir, accordign to Ahmad Salkida – a journalist who was first sent the video.

The barbaric act that was clearly timed to coincide with Christmas, according to reports.

“This is a message to Christians all over the world,” a masked man says in the one-minute video posted online late Thursday by the terror group’s Amaq news agency. No details were given about the victims, but ISIS said they were “captured in the past weeks” in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state, according to the BBC. One captive was shot dead while the other 10 were beheaded.

And who could forget the American and British aid workers who were savagely beheaded  by ISIS in Syria:

But the mainstream media are not merely guilty of ignoring the widespread specter of Muslims persecuting Christians.  They sometimes actually cover for it. For example, before the Feb. 15, 2015 video of the 21 martyrs appeared, the BBC had falsely reported that the majority of those now slaughtered Copts were “released.”

Same with social media.  Facebook regularly shadow bans my articles on Muslims persecuting Christians and once openly banned me for writing about—you guessed it—the 21.
