Not only did Cadbury, the British chocolate maker, scrap the word “Easter” from its ‘halal-certified’ Easter eggs a few years ago, from now on, they will be known as “Gesture Eggs,” because Cadbury doesn’t give a damn about offending Christian ‘sensibilities.’
Daily Mail (h/t Marvin) The decision to remove the word ‘Easter’ has sparked anger among Christians who argue that ‘without the message of Easter there would be no reason for Easter eggs’.
Andrea Williams, the CEO of Christian Concern, told MailOnline: ‘The original Cadburyfamily who founded the business were deeply motivated by their Christian faith and used profits from their business to serve charitable causes across the world. ‘It’s a shame for them to have forgotten those deep Christian roots.’
Tim Dieppe, the head of public policy at Christian Concern, told MailOnline: ‘Easter eggs symbolize the resurrection – just as Jesus rose again from the tomb, new life emerges from eggshells.
It seems to me that the arse sniffers that follow this Fascist Religious Cult of death and lacking in humour all appear very shallow in their faith as even a bleeding chocolate egg upsets them, and who came up with the word gesture to replace Easter ?.
Years ago in Malaysia the local mosque brigade went total full on nuts when they discovered Cadbury was not halal and a full on boycott took place and then Cadbury put a halal sticker on their Chocolate Bars and somebody made a few Bucks in the process…

A) the eggs are very delicious
