I do like Bill Maher’s comic timing. But pardon me, he swings a bit too far on the leftist side for my taste.
If you were an actual racist, I wouldn’t mind it as long as you were civilized and polite. Being funny and humorous is always a big plus. Simping fcr both sides is what we’d consider a character flaw.
Over here in India, LEFTISTS are on thin ice. We do not trust them. In fact, I live in kind of a leftist bastion, and also surrounded by Moslames. But even here, sometimes the Commie bastards run out of places to hide. Almost no one that I know trusts them here.
As a right-wing conservative, I like almost everyone no matter where they come from (unless they happen to originate as Pakistanis or Bangladeshis, our sworn enemies).
I want people to be their real authentic selves. All this “Kumbaya” stuff is deeply untrustworthy no matter who says it.
The only reason I’d tolerate Bill Maher is because he’s American, a party far from the conflict I am experiencing in my nation, and my daily life. Whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican in America, I consider everyone the same.
Personally, however, as I spent so much time in the U.S., I tend to favor Americans. I like your resilient and entrepreneurial spirit. Individually, I like most Americans I meet. But right now, I am developing a strong dislike for leftist views because of the delicate situation in my country.
Leftists and communists are hypocrites and liars in general.
Unlike most liberal comedians, Maher mocks politician on both sides of the aisle. And lately he has been attacking the woke leftists more than anyone else. But he’s truly in a class by himself when it comes to Islam.
Okay maybe I need to study him in more detail. Thanks. I will watch more of his content to find out his views. Perhaps he’s satirical in pandering to the leftists. As you said, he does not support wokism which is always a good thing. But I need to watch more, perhaps, before I form an opinion of him.
There’s a lot he says about which I disagree with him but he’s no far left loon that I can’t listen to for more than 30 seconds. He gets a lot of condemnation for his anti Islam stuff and even gets death threats. One of his best is the Muslim fashion show video in one of the links I posted.
The Red-Green alliance has already been documented across the dying West. I don’t know what the Communists think, but I hope if the moslames do take over they get the same treatment as Iran’s commies following the Islamic Revolution there.

This was quite an insight into President Trump’s humor and acceptance of the perspective others hold. Kudos to Bill Maher for having an open mind, and reporting his experience without ‘political blinkers’.
