But if I were a betting woman, I’d put my money Muslims as the perpetrators, simply because acid attacks on women are widespread in the Muslim world, where punishment is little more than a slap on the wrist, if that.

I remember two Jewish young women from the UK went to Morocco to do some sort of charity work and were acid attacked, thank G-d there was a nearby canal that they were able to jump into and save themselves. I’m not sure if they were acid attacked because they were Jewish or just because they were obviously kafir.
Never heard about that one. I did post about the 2 Scandinavian women who went to Morocco and were beheaded by Muslims who posted the video of that online.
