Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (the new darling of the GOP establishment) is capitulating to Disney, even as he and RINO Republican leaders in the state claim that they are punishing Disney for it’s far-left promotion of LGBT/CRT-advocacy to young children – in fact, the exact opposite of what is happening.
Big League Politics“The bill maintains the current tax-exempt status of property of the district and bonds issued by the district,” the analysis of DeSantis’ measure states. DeSantis is using sleight of hand to claim he is cracking down on Disney when he is really giving them what they want and enabling Disney’s campaign contributions to fill Republican coffers in the years to come.
DeSantis’ Disney punishment bill advances.
Proponents say it’ll “even the playing field” for other companies.
I asked the House bill sponsor what would change in what Disney’s special district is currently doing.
He said, “That I can’t answer.”https://t.co/XPa91SM32C

Disney is big business & brings a lot of money to the state of FL. DeSantis criticized Disney. He can’t actively work against them realistically.

I’m not surprised by this at all.
Thanks for posting.

It seems the rarest creature of all is a politician, who is honest, loves their country and is not in it to to increase their wealth.

Yes, I can only think of one in recent history 😏.

Bonni, the bill he signed to protect people from having to show proof of vaccination had some trojan horses in it, that people could be isolated, quarantined, or even force vaccinated. Anyone who helps apprehend the targeted individual will be reimbursed. I’m not 100% sure nothing came after this. The following is from clicking on “Last Action: 5/3/2021 – Chapter No. 2021-8:” https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2021/2006/

practical method to isolate or quarantine the individual, the State Health

Thanks Grace. Like all politicians, he should be objectively investigated.

I’m glad I found my way back to see your reply, I came to bring another piece of news about DeSantis. (I still can’t access wordpress for my messages. I’m not alerted by email, either. I’ll figure it out, eventually. I’ll email you later in the week, “Grace Joy” will be the subject).

So, Trump was quick, as usual, but right to the point, as usual, when he called him, Ron DeSanctimonious, which honestly I never doubted. The only thing that made me skeptical about Pres Trump is the way he annouced those digital pieces of art he put on sale, but now I really wonder maybe there is something to it, as well, that I failed to understand. Who knows?

Thank you, Bonnie, for supplying needed details. I have been pleased with some of DeSantis’ moves but suspicious there was more. He gets caught out and when that happens, he has another “feel good” press conference with great sound bites.

I was a fan until I saw this. Will be more careful in the future.

If true, DeSantis has signed his chances for a presidential run to the dust bin of history. Nothing is more despised than a traitor.

Indeed… I really liked DeSantis… and hoped he was a beacon of reason and hope in a vast dark oblivion… now this crap.
Is there any God Damned Hope?

I’m still a Trump supporter.

If this all turns out to be accurate, then I would say YES. there is hope. While it’s a huge disappointment, better to find out early in the game. Revealing DeSantis as a fraud would take all competition away from Trump, who has already proven himself. People (myself included) were being tempted by DeSantis, but if he is a traitor to us, then let him be found out now.
