ISLAM-PANDERING NATO fool spits on the right to freedom of expression in the West

At a press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg praised Sweden’s decision to bow down to Sharia blasphemy laws and ban Qur’an burnings by its citizens.

RAIR Foundation One of the issues centered around Swedish-Danish politician Rasmus Paludan, who set fire to the Qur’an, which angered thin-skinned Muslims, and radical Islamic government’s across the world. Turkey was enraged Sweden did not stop or punish Paludan for burning the Qur’an.

In an act to preserve Sweden’s right to free speech, Paludan, who is the leader of the Danish Stram Kurs (Hard Line) party, burned a copy of the Qur’an. This time Paludan, who has held many prior Qur’an burning protests in the name of free speech, lit the book on fire adjacent to the Turkish Embassy behind riot fences and with police protection and bodyguards.

Before the demonstrations, Turkey demanded that Sweden stop Paludan and other groups that the Islamic country considers “terrorists.” Turkey defines anyone who disrespects its President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Islam’s holy books or prophet, as a “terrorist” and will be legally punished or physically harmed under that rubric. 

The Norweigan NATO secretary welcomed the Swedish authorities’ intervention against the blasphemous acts.I understand and share the pain –  personally, I regard the burning of the holy book as a shameful act, says Stoltenberg. 

And I understand the feelings of Muslims in Türkiye and around the world. And therefore, I also strongly condemn the burning but also welcome the fact that Sweden has been able to prevent other manifestations with the burning of the Quran as part of the manifestation, he stressed.

“And I also welcome that the Swedish government and the Swedish Prime Minister have clearly condemned this disgraceful act.

The NATO Secretary praised Stockholm’s decision to stop two planned Qur’an burnings this month and, in a dictation, banned any further burnings of the Islamic “holy” book. However, the authority’s ban applies only to the Qur’an, not to other holy scriptures.

Paludan and others have warned against adhering to Turkey’s sharia demands, saying they undermine rights and freedoms in Sweden, alongside the country’s sovereignty.

Despite freedom of expression and demonstration being protected by Sweden’s constitution, the Stockholm police press spokesman Ola Östling announced on state television they will deny permission to anyone seeking to burn the Qur’an and warns that they will act accordingly if anyone does not comply.

In reaction to Paludan’s peaceful protests, various Islamic governments and thousands of Muslims lodged threats, Allahu Akbar marches, and demands for deadly punishments. Pakistan, Kuwait, Iran, UAE, Qatar, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, among others, lodged threats and incited violence toward blasphemers.

ISIS also has called on Muslims to attack Christians around the world, especially in Europe.

As RAIR Foundation USA predicted, Muslim leaders would try to capitalize on the Qur’an burnings in Sweden and pressure the west to adopt Blasphemy Laws. It seems that without firing a shot, Turkey successfully conquered Sweden and NATO.
