If you listen to the likes of U.S. Congressmuslims Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, not to mention Amnesty International, Arab Muslims are being persecuted in Israel. The reality is that Arabs have it better in the Jewish state than they do in most Arab countries, and some aren’t afraid to say so.
Israel Today An Israeli Arab Muslim man was reportedly arrested in Saudi Arabia late last month because he insisted on loudly proclaiming how wonderful the Jewish state is for the Arabs who live there.
The man’s family told the Ynet news portal that he was in Saudi Arabia to visit the Muslim holy city of Mecca when he suddenly required medical assistance. He requested to see a doctor, but was sent instead to a pharmacy. After receiving inadequate service, the man began recording himself criticizing the Saudi medical establishment and praising Israel.
“I gave my name, my father’s name, everything. I said I wanted to see a doctor, they sent me to a pharmacy. I swear to God that our lives are a blessing in this country [Israel], in God’s name. Israel is the greatest country in the world,” the man is heard saying in Arabic.
The family said that the man, who is a Bedouin from the southern city of Rahat, suffers from diabetes. They have reportedly not been able to contact him since his arrest.
“We’re talking about a man with a disability and diabetes. He was angry because of the service he received when he asked to see a doctor, said a few things and was arrested,” one relative told Ynet.
“Since the arrest, we’ve contacted those responsible for this, and they told us that his remand was extended. They told us that they’ll release him after the Umrah”, he said, referring to an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. “And I hope he really gets released. There are even members of Knesset that got involved and are in touch with the family.”
