A report released by Ireland’s Central Statistics Office (CSO) on Friday has revealed that “Muhammad” has risen to become the most popular name for newborn babies in one of the country’s major cities – Galway.
Breitbart (h/t Nita) The success of Muhammad in the popularity rankings puts Ireland in line with many of its European neighbours, with Sweden, France and Britain all seeing the name and its variations become extremely popular in many regions across the last number of years.
It now appears that Ireland is on the same path as its European neighbours as it pursues mass migration policies, with Muhammad now reported to be Galway City’s most popular baby name of 2022, beating out last year’s winners of Michael and Liam.
Nearly one quarter (23%) or 5.1 million people were described as hailing from Asian countries, including 3.5 million Muslims from the Middle East and Africa which accounted for around 5%, totaling 1.1 million people. Those Muslims hailing from Turkey represented the largest migrant background population of any single country with 12%.
What’s more, this statistic only appears to be counting one spelling of the name, with variations such as “Mohammad” being registered as separate names by the CSO in the data they have made available to the general public. British statistics bodies admit to pulling a similar trick to minimise the true rise in the name’s popularity.
But is it really the most popular name, or is it that there are so many variations in the spelling of it that makes it come out on top?
Muhammad, Mohammed, Mohammad, Muhammed, Mohamed, Mohamad, Muhamad, Muhamed, Mohamud, Mohummad, Mohummed, Mouhamed, Mohammod and Mouhamad

First it was the British and now it is islam. Where is the feared IRA?
BareNakedIslam says
I’ve been wondering that myself. 🤔
Pray Hard says
Yes.

I imagine Ireland will inject something for nothing Islam along with the rest of Europe. The more uncivilised Islam it seems the more tolerant Europe – until D-Day whenever that is.

Who would name their child Failure is beyond me, however, mosloms aren’t known for their keen intellect.

I suspect another Potato Famine of 1847, but instead of a blight on the potato crop, the blight will be Muslims.

With her grandparents that hailed from County Cork. My full blooded, Irish mother would be rolling in her grave over this news.

The islamization of ireland is on the way just as the whole of europe. The starting shot was in 2013 were the letting them come before the border tear down was done by merkel. What you see in Ireland is the outcome from about 10 years of tearing down our asyl laws and calling all warners nazis. When you see this then your country is on the best way to become the next islamic nation so no worry as long as you are not a nazi all is good. To bitch after the dirty deed is done is zynical aint it.

Islam taking over whatever happened to the IRA.

I have a redneck friend in the States. Owns a tractor and pick-up trucks — very stereotypical.
The other he told me a joke: “The difference between the Irish and the Muslims is that everyone wants to be Irish on St. Parick’s Day.
Find me anyone who’ll wear a hijab on hijab solidarity day.”
😀 😀 😀 😀
That really got me thinking. What can we Muslims do to make it cool for the infidels to emulate us?
Nothing at the moment, I guess.

Having a sense of humor about themselves (like you do) would be a good start.
Pray Hard says
Why would anyone with a brain cell want to emulate moslems? (There is no reason so don’t waste your time)
Daniel Erbstoesser says
I like your way of thinking and yes my friends that are muslim are so too. Sad to say that you are a part of a very little minority and yes they are being harrased by the rest of the right and so called true muslims. i grew up with one of the holy men and let me tell you a whorehause is better than he was, you see i have a problem with religion but i respect every single one as long as it respects me. Stay how you are and good luck in the future. Your black humor i like.

Well, I guess that puts an end to that classic Irish song…

Thank you, Reader, I have not watched that before.
