Six teenagers went on trial behind closed doors on November 27th, accused of involvement in the beheading of French history teacher Samuel Paty by an Islamic terrorist in 2020 in an attack that struck at the heart of the country’s secular values. Paty had shown his pupils cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in a class dedicated to the principles of ‘freedom of expression,’ infuriating several Muslim parents.
The teacher was killed outside his school in a Paris suburb by an 18-year-old Muslim assailant of Russian Chechen origin, who was shot dead by police soon after the attack.
Five of the minors facing trial were aged between 14 and 15 at the time of the attack. They will be charged premeditated criminal conspiracy, or ambush, having been suspected of pointing out Paty to the murderer or helping monitor his exit from the school.
The sixth is a girl who was 13 at the time she allegedly told her parents that Paty had shown caricatures of the prophet in her class. She is facing false accusation charges after it was established that she was not in the class when it happened.

Took them three long years even to get to trial! I am sure they will pull out all sorts of get out of jail card, including that they were innocent minors, they were traumatized as refugees, misguided by the mosque etc., I would not be surprised if they would be found innocent and freed! It is great that the actual perp has been permanently silenced!
Yeah boy and the same will happen to them as in germany the group of gangbangers. they will get probation just as the rapists here then its not that bad and he was traumatized and his cultur is so and we did not do enough to keep him happy. this and more we hear daily and never that the invader has a problem or that he is guilty no we are. We also get to hear daily for years now, how they want to work and they will pay our pensions and so but as of today and for ever we pay all inclusiv and his pension too while at the same time our old have to seek in trashcans for refund bottles or something to eat, this they must do after working up to 45 years. This is the outcome from when you give up your country and you pay all for all except the ones bringing the money. This will not go good much longer and then what. We the few are ready and waiting.
