The woman is not clueless! She knows the truth but is only trying to pretend that women in Gaza have more rights than their counterparts in Israel. Consider how she tries to hedge first, and then walks away from having a discussion!
Clearly the woman was thoroughly ignorant and delusional. The larger and perhaps more pertinent question is just how such delusional thought has taken hold and why such individuals cannot perceive their deficit when they must end the conversation. If this is the result of brainwashing in the school system then this must be addressed immediately because it will impact the entire society with indelible false notions. Alternatively, it may be the result of indoctrination by omission of other ideas from the online news sources these individuals tend to use. This would be a brainwashing of the type that North Korea ought to envy. This system of social media propaganda and its consequent mono-thought also must be addressed. The exclusion of different facts and ideas, in this way, may come from algorithmic bigotry appled against classes of certain consitutionally protected people. As such it may have legal remedies in the courts of the United States. Beyond all the above, is the horrific notion that stupidity does not have a cure.
