In Oklahoma City, designated terrorist group CAIR actually found a police department willing to go along with their demands and instructed its officers to disregard Muslim names on the FBI Terror Watch List.
Florida Family The fact that the federal courts have upheld the Terror Watchlist has not stopped CAIR from challenging the use of the list by law enforcement agencies for public safety.
The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) and the CAIR Legal Defense Fund (CAIR LDF) today welcomed the Oklahoma City Police Department’s (OKCPD) actions since last week’s filing of a lawsuit against the department for its targeting of Saadiq Long based solely on his name being unlawfully included on a federal terror watchlist.
“The Oklahoma City Police Department should be commended for its decision to disregard the FBI’s secret, racist list,” said CAIR-OK Deputy Director Veronica Laizure. “However, we still have work to do to keep our Oklahoma City community safe from the dangerous consequences of the Islamophobic, racist watchlist practices.”
In a stipulation filed with the Oklahoma City federal court yesterday, the Oklahoma City Police Department acknowledged that “neither Saadiq Long nor any other person should be stopped by officers based solely on that individual’s” status on the FBI’s watchlist. The stipulation also memorializes that, on Jan. 31, the OKCPD “issued instructions to all officers that neither Saadiq Long nor any other person listed” by the FBI “should be stopped based solely on the list.”
The wording in the affidavit stating “based solely on that individual’s status on the FBI watch list” appears to mean that the police department may still use the watch list in conjunction with “other” law enforcement intelligence. However, the heading of CAIR’s press release states that “OKC Police’s Decision to Instruct its Officers to Disregard FBI Watchlist.”
Last month, CAIR called on the Biden administration to suspend the FBI’s dissemination of two of their secret lists, which leaked copies show to be “almost entirely lists of Arabic and Muslim names.”
The Council On American Islamic Relations (CAIR) LOST its law suit which challenged the constitutionality of the United States Terror Watchlist. CAIR sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on April 5, 2016 on behalf of 23 Muslims. The lawsuit challenged the validity of the Terror Screening Database (TSDB), the official name for the Terror Watchlist that is used by law enforcement and the private sector to protect millions of Americans and the citizens of several other countries from terrorism.
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) petitioned for rehearing en banc on May 14, 2021 a three judge panel decision before the full 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after the panel unanimously ruled against CAIR’s legal challenge to the Terror Watchlist. Not even one judge wanted to reconsider CAIR’s ludicrous challenge.
The court issued the following order on May 28, 2021: The petition for rehearing en banc was circulated to the full court. No judge requested a poll under Fed. R. App. P. 35. The court denies the petition for rehearing en banc.
Florida Family Association launched numerous online campaigns that asked people to send emails that encouraged the district court judge and appellate court justices to make national security the priority in this case. On May 28, 2021, the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit issued the final ruling on the case which upheld the Terror Watch list as constitutional.
CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2009 Holy Land Foundation (HLF) retrial, the largest terrorism financing case in American history. In November 2014, the United Arab Emirates designated CAIR as a terrorist organization.
CAIR has not found a law enforcement tool or statute that is designed to fight terror that is likes and will not challenge.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE
Why are there so-called citizens on the TSDB Watchlist who are designated as “non-investigative subjects” who have no known connection to terrorism (per the FBI) YET they are nominated and added to the Watchlist based on secret criterion and are not notified when they are placed on the list nor is there any redress for removal? Over 95% of those on the TSDB Watchlist are not considered dangerous enough to be the subject of any FBI investigation yet they languish on the list indefinitely, sometimes for decades. What happened to due process? And if the FBI is now providing a redress process for those on a now publicly-revealed No-Fly list (who are presumably the most dangerous) then WHY wouldn’t it also provide at least the same for those who are on the Non-Investigative Subject list who are not being actively investigated and can still presumably fly in and out of the country? It doesn’t make sense. UNLESS, these people are serving some unspoken and more sinister service to so-called national security interests? I also would bet that the overwhelming majority in this group are black and female and keeping this much smaller list secret is hiding a new iteration of the Tuskegee Experiment & the FBIs CoINTELPRO pogrom.

Seems like the OKCPD is defending and abetting terrorists. Shame on them. CAIR itself should be recognised as a terrorist organisation and disbanded. The legal details were a bit beyond me but it seems Florida is onto it.
